Alford Garage can now offer a complete range of testing and diagnostic services using Legislative approved emission analysers, diagnostic systems and engine  component testing tools.

The Crypton Cudos is a pc based engine analyser that is capable of carrying out a complete test of the various components and a preset test of the overall efficiency of your ignition system, fuel system, electrical system and charging system. It also has a four gas emissions analyser built in, Two channel digital oscilloscope with record and playback to catch any intermittent faults and printer to output all test results and waveforms.

The Autosense Gas analyser is MOT specification gas testing bench for all petrol engined vehicles and smoke tester for diesels.

The Sykes Pickevent ACR code reader reads stored fault codes and live data. We currently have software pods and harnesses to communicate with the following makes of vehicles: Ford, Rover, Toyota, Lexus, BMW, Peugeot, Citroen, Fiat, Volkswagen, Audi, Seat, Renault, Vauxhall and Skoda.

We can also check ABS and Airbag warning lights on Vauxhall and Volkswagen group vehicles.
